Giving Back

We aren’t on this planet alone so join me in making a difference!

Alanna Levenson Giving BackI am a huge supporter and advocate for social change and environmental awareness. For that reason, giving to organizations that are making a difference is built into the cycle of giving and receiving through I Love My Life! Coaching.

When you make an investment in your success you are also supporting others in their success, transformation, and empowerment. That may translate into helping other entrepreneurs around the world, leadership development of young women, happiness coming from a transformed smile or awareness of bee colony collapse.

Here are the organizations I currently support and am honored to bring awareness to:

Kiva-Logo

Kiva is such an easy way to make a difference and has created a system that has been proven to work. With as little as $25.00, you can make a life-changing loan that alleviates poverty around the world by lending funds to entrepreneurs, creating opportunities for themselves and their families.

I joined a team called Poverty2Prosperity that has over 2,800 members, has made over 82,000 loans, and has loaned over $2.5million. When you join me in this lending revolution, I can receive bonuses to expand on my loaning capacities. LEARN MORE

SmileTrainLogoSmile Train is an international children’s charity that has provided a solution to those with cleft lip and palate since 1999 and has transformed over 970,000+ smiles so far. There are millions of children in developing countries with unrepaired clefts who live in shame. It also causes difficulty with the simple every day luxuries we take for granted: eating, breathing and speaking.

As part of their sustainable approach, they provide training and funding to empower local doctors in 85+ developing countries to provide 100%-free cleft repair surgery in their communities. LEARN MORE

World Academy for the Future of WomenI am honored to say that I am a Founding Facilitator for this program that has taken on a life of it’s own. From April 19-May 23, 2010 I was in Zhengzhou, China, where I delivered 27 workshops during my 6 week stay, taking a group of 75 young women through exercises that taught them how to be effective speakers and presenters.

The World Academy for the Future of Women grew from a need expressed by women students for a transformational leadership experience that would enable them to make a difference in the lives of others. Women and men are selected for the World Academy based on a commitment to advancing women in leadership roles at a time that offers so many possibilities, yet still presents so many obstacles. Most Academy members in China come from poor rural communities and are often the first in their families to get a college education.

This innovative and rigorous yearlong women’s leadership training program was envisioned through Global Interactions. The intention is for the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The program was founded at the Sias International University in Xinzheng City, Henan Province, China. It has since expanded to other campuses around the world, including ULAB (University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh) in Dhaka. In Dhaka I was the 2019-2020 Start up Coordinator conducting over 100 interviews to accept the new year members, and facilitated 25 workshops and Coaching sessions kicking off with Module I – “Being a World Academy Member”.

The different ways you can get involved and support this organization is by becoming a facilitator, a mentor, a contributor or organizational partner.
